Once again, we had the privilege of attending the 2024 Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) Newborn Screening Symposium. Held in Omaha, Nebraska it offered the OpenELIS team the opportunity to engage with public health professionals, laboratory staff, and policy advocates who are dedicated to advancing newborn screening and genetic testing.
At Booth #101, we reported that the OpenELIS newborn screening and short-term follow-up modules will be available to clients in the coming year. Many attendees stopped by to discuss the real-world needs of their facilities and explored how OpenELIS can support their work with our innovative, user-friendly lab information management systems (LIMS).
In addition to booth conversations, our team had the chance to attend sessions covering the latest trends and challenges in newborn screening. These insights not only inform the OpenELIS product development but also deepen our commitment to supporting the essential work of public health laboratories across the country.
We’d like to thank everyone who visited our booth and shared their experiences and goals with us! See you at the next conference!
